Overview
Busy, multi-lane carriageways, were protected by only two pavement-sited traffic signals, with the result that high-sided vehicles would repeatedly mask the signals, with the result that drivers were often in the position where they were unable to see any red aspect whatsoever.
The Foundation funded the use of overhead signals.
