Overview

Iin 2013 there were 551 reported accidents on this section of carriageway.  This road was once a 2-lane undivided carriageway, but is now a 12-lane divided highway, with high-speed traffic.  ‘Automatic Speed Enforcement Devices' installed and 'Red Light Running' cameras, with high-profile advanced warning signage.  After project implementation, fatality rate decreased by 35%!
